This Privacy Policy describes how Chapter, Inc. ("Chapter," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use AI Pop Studio ("Service").

2. Information We Collect
- Account data: email address and authentication credentials.
- User content: images, videos, prompts, settings, and generated outputs you create or save.
- Usage data: interactions with the Service, device information, and diagnostic data.
- Payment data: transaction records and billing metadata. Card details are handled by Stripe and not stored by us.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and secure the Service
- Process your requests and generate outputs
- Handle billing and communicate about your account
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
4. AI Training & Improvement
We may use User Content to improve the Service—including refining prompts, safety systems, and, where applicable, training AI models.
Opt-Out. You can opt out at any time in Settings or by emailing privacy@aipop.gg. Opting out stops future use of your content for these purposes.
5. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers who help operate the Service:
- Infrastructure: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting)
- Payments: Stripe
- AI providers: fal.ai, OpenRouter, OpenAI (your inputs are transmitted for processing)
- Operations: Trigger.dev (background jobs), Sentry (error monitoring)
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to authenticate users and maintain sessions. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
7. Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Upon account deletion request, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing.
CCPA (California): You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
GDPR (EU/EEA): You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and to object to or restrict processing.

10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
